Book Description

The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is now being offered as an internet-based test, or iBT, and the new edition of Barron’s TOEFL manual and accompanying software have been completely revised and updated to reflect the new format.

The manual presents seven full-length model TOEFL iBT tests with explanations or examples for all questions, including sample essays and speaking responses. The author also offers general orientation to the new TOEFL iBT, as well as a review of academic skills, which include note taking, paraphrasing, summarizing, and synthesizing.

There is also a review of language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The optional CD-ROM presents seven on-screen TOEFL iBT exams that simulate actual test conditions and provide automatic scoring.

Quant. resources

Hi friends.
Going through this blog you must have noticed that very little or almost no notice have been taken of the quant section of the GMAT,which is as important as all the other sections.
The reason behind this is that i truly believe that to gain excellence in this section you need to have and follow some basic stratergies.

1. Hardwork - Practice Practice and more Practice. Thats all i have to say about this section in GMAT . The best, and I think the only way of going about this section is sitting down with a bunch of good quant questions and working upon them and applying your brains in the process.

No shortcut or tips and tricks are their for this section .Its truly based on the amount of practice and hardwork you have putted into,the hours that you have spent over solving the questions, the time you have spent in learning all the formuales , the effort you have done to get the basics clear.
